My Story

Around this time, a family member challenged me to recreate a photograph he had taken in his garden, the result was quite surprising! This really encouraged me and gave me the confidence to order some canvases, that was the beginning of an incredible journey.
In March 2023 I transitioned to becoming a full time artist, taking a huge leap of faith into the unknown. Around the same time I casually walked into a Fine Art Gallery in Glasgow, solely for a look around, but after a chat with the owner I was asked to create two large colourful paintings to be sold in the Gallery! One of these paintings sold within a week and the other a few months later. This boosted my confidence and it was then I started to believe I had a talent and that I had found my niche. It was one of the best decisions I ever made, I will always be grateful for that opportunity.
Within the first year my artwork sold in four galleries throughout Scotland and I have since sold over 200 paintings privately, including commissioned pieces.
As well as my colourful artwork, I am also known for creating dramatic, monotone forest paintings which are almost ethereal and very atmospheric. I also enjoy painting life-like, photographic style art. These three eclectic styles seem to appeal to all artistic tastes.
If you like my art style but are looking for something a little more personal and meaningful, please get in touch to discuss a custom piece created just for you. I will work with you to create a piece of art you can treasure. Have a browse through my previous commissioned pieces I have created to inspire your own personalised piece of art.
A lovely lady who has one of my original pieces moved me to tears one day when she messaged me with these words…
“Your gift impacts on people, not just because your paintings look beautiful but because they make us feel”
This message is amongst many that encourage me to carry on doing what I do, not only because I love it but also for the impact it has on others.
